I've had this Japanese guitar since new, and it's quite simply the best Metal guitar I've ever heard. Even unplugged the strings ring out forever, and the tone is unbelievably good. It has a humbucker and two single coil pick ups (all black, no dots on them), a locking Kahler trem with tremolo arm, Sharks tooth mother of pearl inlays in the frets, the fretboard is Rosewood. The neck is maple I think. After twenty years the paintwork is like new. I've got a far more expensive USA Hamer from 1984, and I prefer the Aria. By the way, mine is the top of the range - full model name is Aria Pro 2 Mega Metal Series Stage 3 Kpi.
