1. Audio Centron CE156 - 11 months ago Purchase year : 1998 Rating : Very good value in a "prosumer" full range 8 ohm cabinet. Rated at 175 watts RMS. Very flat, uncolored 20-20K response. Solidly constructed cabinet with tripod mount. Rated 4 instead of 5 only because of the dual 1/4" plugs. Needs a speakon connector. A good match for these is the Audio Centron RMA 1600, rated at 250 watts/ch RMS at 8 ohms. These have been out on the market for over 10 years now and are an outstanding value for consumer level users such as dj's. Newer speakers in this class from manufacturers such as Mackie and the consumer JBL's don't sound nearly as good.
