Generic adapter with proper voltage & amperage |

I plugged a generic adapter with proper voltage & amperage into my mg 510 and it powered up but no midi. Then I realized that the polarity required a negative tip. no midi since. Any suggestions?

Hi there
I also own a casio 380 and have the same problem. Did you find out, what the problem is. I have mine laid down more then ten years ago, contactet the casio people, bit the only answer was: this item is no longer supportet.
I think, the most common problems on Casio items is, the cheep components. I own a DH 100 too, and the prob in these-worldwide- ist, that a capacitor breaks down. You can change this with any capacitor you just have there, but they did not come out with a message on their homepage, how to solve this by yourself.
If you can find out the prob and how to solv it, please give me a note.
