i Own One to, i love it. It has great sound and sustain makes my friends Fender strat turn green with envy but it has some lil dings in it. at the time i didn't know any thing about it. so i took it to the shop one day and had some strings replaced the guy there was imprased with it, i told him i knew nothing about it and only seen one other and thats this black one here so he tried lookin it up in some of his books and on the web and didn't find much but he knew what it's value was, now its worth 900$ bucks i thought that was pretty cool concidering its like unherd of

Purchase year : 1982        Price paid : 200 GBP
I've owned mine since new in 1982. It was an inexpensive guitar at the time ($200) which was a lot more money then than it is now. There were just not a lot of decent low priced guitars then. This guitar has been great - good sound and action. Yes, a bit heavy but like its big brother, the Les Paul. It was only made for one year so it is a rarity but it does have great resemblance to the Sonex which was considered poor quality. I'm sure that didn't help sales much. The hardware all seems good and it has lasted some 26 years and still looks great. Definately a great rythym guitar.

I own this heavy guitar,and want to buy a les paul studio,but I cant find one that sounds as good.I would like to find one in great condition,but there so hard to find.
