I purchased one of these in 1997 for my grandaughter for her 20th Birthday, since she loved to play piano. It cost around £1000 to buy and in other music stores even more expensive. I took it home and of course, ensured it worked properly. It did, but the sounds were not 'stunning' as described and certainly the use of 'state of the art technology' did not really appeal to me, hence the fact that its operations seemed difficult to understand. However I was pleased with the large screen and the many rhythms it held, to be honest I thought that Technics own PCM sounds were much better quality than the standard Midi sounds. I dont think I would have bought this for myself. Maybe Yamaha are better?....
